It's official: Kirchheim unter Teck is about to experience a breathtaking spectacle of change! From July 25, 2023, the city will open the highly anticipated“Pop-up gardens”on Max-Eyth-Straße. This stunning project will beautify the city center with a top-class color spectacle! In the past, the city has called on citizens to fill the “pop-up gardens” with bright flowers. Loud Teckbote Hundreds of bags full of flower seeds were distributed in the old town in May 2023. The anticipation is palpable!
These sensational gardens, which will be set up on Wednesday, July 23rd, can be admired until September 14th, 2023. Committed residents and passionate gardeners have already secured over 3,000 seed cards of insect-friendly plants. In an overwhelming campaign from May 15th to 17th, 2025, the vouchers for these dazzling plants were sold out within a very short time! Renowned florists like Gerber Flower House and the legendary flower monks have done everything they can to bring the city into shape! Over 100 vouchers were redeemed, a veritable flood of flowers that will transform the streets of Kirchheim!
But that's not all! The city has also specifically focused on educating residentsinsect-friendly plantsto sensitize. Experts recommend wild roses, crocuses and lavender as the perfect candidates to protect our winged friends while beautifying the city. Demand was shockingly high, especially on Dettinger Straße – who would have thought?
