SC Kriens gets the whirlwind: Komatovic strengthens the offensive!
SC Kriens has signed a new attacking winger, Djordje Komatovic. The 20-year-old player is moving from FC Luzern's youth team to SC Kriens and brings both speed and goal threat with him. Last season, Komatovic made 27 appearances for FC Luzern's U21s, in which he scored five goals. He previously played for FC Wohlen in the 1st League Classic and also showed his skills there by scoring seven goals in 34 games. This reports nau.ch.
SCK sports director Yves Jöhl was positive about the new signing and emphasized that Komatovic is described as courageous, technically adept and with a strong ability to score. These characteristics are intended to give the team additional unpredictability on offense. His move is seen as a big step for both the player and the team, which means an exciting development in the small field can be expected.
Additions to the SC Kriens squad
In addition to Komatovic, Dario Wälti also strengthens SC Kriens. The 19-year-old goalkeeper is moving on loan from FC Thun and will also play in the small field next season. In the past championship, Wälti played in the 1st League Classic, primarily in the FC Thun youth team. He also made his debut for the first team in the Swiss Cup. According to Jöhl, Wälti meets the modern requirements of a goalkeeper and integrated well into the team. Wälti is also part of the current squad of the Swiss youth national team and took part in the European Championship qualification with the U19 national team regiofussball.ch reported.
The two new additions are intended to strengthen SC Kriens' offense and defense in the coming season and provide new impetus. Both players will start the new season with high expectations as the club prepares for the challenges of the small pitch. The signing of Komatovic and Wälti is a clear indication of SC Kriens' ambitions to remain competitive in the league.
