The Heidengraben Center in Erkenbrechtsweiler will be offering a variety of exciting events in the coming period that deal with Celtic history and culture. A highlight is the lecture on the topic “Princes, long-distance trade and burial mounds – archeology of the early Celtic period at the Heuneburg”, which will be led by Leif Hansen and Roberto Tarpini at 7:30 p.m. Afterwards, on November 20th at 7:30 p.m., architect Thomas Ott will talk about the architecture of the Heidengraben Center and Tower.
Celtic festivals and exhibitions
Visitors to the Heidengrabenzentrum can experience the Celtic festival of Samhain on November 1st. This festival takes place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and is organized by the Riusiava group. For interested guests, there will also be an evening event with a druid from 6 p.m. that will focus on the mystical aspects of Celtic tradition. There will also be a presentation of legends and fairy tales from the region on October 29th at 7 p.m. in the Erkenbrechtsweiler Citizens' Hall.
A special attraction in the Heidengrabenzentrum is the special exhibition “Celtic Worlds – Replicas of Celtic Treasures”.
