Youth make music: Regional talents shine at the national finals!
The national final of the “Jugend musiziert” competition took place in Wuppertal on June 14, 2025. In renowned music circles, this competition is seen as an important springboard for young talent. The participants had to achieve outstanding results in regional and state competitions in order to qualify for the final. A high of 25 points was achieved several times, which underlines the high quality of the performances. The announcement of the results took place in the glass hall of the Stadtsparkasse Wuppertal, where the certificates were awarded directly on site, as Jugend musiziert reports.
The most valuable successes shone in various categories and groups in which the musicians demonstrated their skills. The event was attended not only by the participating musicians, but also by a broad audience who applauded the top performances.
Outstanding performances by the participants
The performances were particularly remarkable in the vocal area. The vocal duo, consisting of Yasmin Frey (soprano, Tübingen), Celina Maren Englert (mezzo-soprano, Reutlingen) and Nevena Bugarski (piano, Reutlingen) was awarded 1st prize and 24 points. Other duos also achieved very good success: Victoria Kaschner (soprano, Tübingen) and Salome Bläubaum (mezzo-soprano, Engstingen) were awarded 19 points, while Isabella Weyrather (piano, Lichtenstein) won second prize with 23 points.
In the area of chamber music with piano, the successes contributed to the region's high score. Letizia Claudi (violin, Esslingen), Benedikt Dan (cello, Tübingen) and Kolja Hölscher (piano, Stuttgart) scored 25 points, which earned them first prize. Felicitas Reichert (cello, Rottenburg) and her colleagues were also able to celebrate third prize with 21 points.
