Unique faith path in Schönaich: Opening on Whit Monday!
In Schönaich the signs point to a new beginning: the newly created ecumenical path of faith will be opened this year. It took over five years for the thoughts on this special project, which combines nature with faith, to take shape. How szbz.de reports, the basic idea was formulated at the beginning of 2020 by a dedicated team from the Catholic parish. The aim was to create a place where people can pause, relax and go out into the world with a new perspective.
A central aspect of the journey of faith is to make the greatness of God in creation and the love of Jesus tangible. By designing the path close to nature, visitors are invited to reflect on their faith and strengthen themselves through spiritual impulses. The path of faith is now completed and will officially open on Whit Monday.
A place of community
But not only the journey of faith itself, but also the community in Schönaich sees itself as a place of warmth and community. The SV Schönaich is an open church that welcomes people with and without a fixed connection to the church. The goal of the community is to celebrate services, praise God and experience a sense of community.
The offerings range from Bible lessons and women's lessons to a creative children's and family program. What is particularly pleasing is that parents with babies can also actively participate in the church services, thanks to the child-friendly design of the rooms. This not only strengthens family bonds, but also the relationship with Jesus, with members of the community reporting positive experiences and a feeling of home.
For those interested in more community and experiences, the community also has a tent camp on offer for 2025. Registration is now possible online and shows that the community is always striving to create new impulses and experiences for its members.
The ecumenical journey of faith will therefore not only offer a place for reflection and spirituality, but also a space in which community and family togetherness are in the foreground. Schönaich once again presents itself as a place where faith comes to life and people are warmly welcomed.
