Art lovers can currently visit a variety of exciting exhibitions in the Böblingen region. The art offering ranges from international masterpieces to local talent, offering something for every taste. The exhibitions are mainly concentrated in Sindelfingen and Böblingen and are a wonderful opportunity for both residents and visitors to engage with art.
A highlight is this Sindelfingen Gallery LG28, which shows the works of Annerose Wald with the title “I bring you the roses” and Waltraud Wellmann until September 21st. Opening hours are Sundays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., except during the street festival. Another exhibition worth seeing is “TOP_0025”. Sindelfingen show, which runs until June 29th and presents 72 works by 13 master students from the Karlsruhe Academy of Fine Arts.
Diversity of art in Böblingen and Sindelfingen
In the “Café” on Turmgasse, Rainer Simon shows his works in the “Sport Pictures” exhibition, which lasts until the end of June. For night owls, the café is open until midnight from Monday to Thursday and until 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. In addition, a double exhibition with the artists Gianni Caravaggio and Johannes Wald will take place in the city's gallery on the market square until September 14th, where admission is free.
If you want to focus on local artists, you should visit the gallery in the shop window, where Barbara Steegmüller from Magstadt is showing her works until August 23rd. These are visible from the street around the clock. An equally interesting show is the art estate of Josef Glöckler, which can be seen on the ground floor of the Stern Center. The exhibition is open Monday to Saturday between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., Friday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Various topics are covered in the current exhibitions: In the city library in Höfle, the Böblinger DAT art school presents its show “The Secret Life of Things”, which can be seen until September 14th.
