HSG Böblingen/Sindelfingen challenges SV Fellbach: Dramatic duel in the association league!

On Sunday at 5:30 p.m. HSG Böblingen/Sindelfingen will face third place SV Fellbach in the handball association league. The HSG Böblingen/Sindelfingen is currently in seventh place with 6:6 points and would like to improve after the impressive 39:24 home win against SG Freudenstadt/Baiersbronn. Coach Marco Cece is optimistic and particularly emphasizes the improvement in defense in the last few games.

The two teams are generally considered to be on equal terms. While Fellbach can boast a series of five wins in a row, the duel will be exciting. Particularly noteworthy is Felix Wente, a strong player from SV Fellbach who is considered a key player for the upcoming game. In the first leg of the previous season, in which HSG Böblingen/Sindelfingen initially led 7:2, they ultimately lost 26:34. In the second leg, however, Böblingen/Sindelfingen was able to record an important 36:32 victory.

Injury problems in the team

HSG Böblingen/Sindelfingen is struggling with a severely reduced squad due to injuries. Joshua Ruhmund, Dominik Möller and Fabian Rothsching have long-term injuries and will not return in the near future. Robin Dörner, who has recovered from a cruciate ligament injury, will be in the squad but is unlikely to be ready to play.

The next game against the Fellbachers, who are currently better placed in the table, will offer HSG Böblingen/Sindelfingen the opportunity to further establish themselves in the league and possibly continue the upward trend. If they win, the gap to the lower places in the table could increase.

The current season shows that every game can be decisive and HSG Böblingen/Sindelfingen is determined to give everything to be successful against SV Fellbach.
