Anniversary run in Schönbuch: 50 years full of adventures and challenges!
The Nature Park Schönbuch Run, which takes place on October 19th this year, is celebrating its 50th edition. The anticipation among the organizers of the TSV Hildrizhausen running meeting is great, as this anniversary brings with it special challenges. There should be more on offer than in previous years in order to offer the runners an unforgettable experience. This reports Krzbb.
The Nature Park Schönbuch Run is part of the renowned Schönbuch Cup running series. Registration for the run is already open. This year, participants can look forward to some exciting innovations. The beginner's run will be integrated into the Schönbuch Cup running season as a 10 km lottery run. In addition, the Schönbuch Cup now consists of seven different races, with the results of four of these events having to count for the ranking. This is information that is also provided on the official Schönbuchlauf website ( Schoenbuchlauf.de ).
Special events for young runners
In addition to the adult races, there are separate competitions for students, which are organized in cooperation with local schools. These student runs are part of the Kids Cup in the Schönbuch Cup, with three out of seven events counting for the ranking. Another highlight of the anniversary is the one-off 50 km run, which was included in the program as an anniversary ultra.
A historical outline of the Schönbuch Run will be published during the event. Guests can also look forward to notable athletes: Patriz Ilg, world champion in the 3000m steeplechase, and Dieter Baumann, Olympic champion in the 5000 meters, will be part of the event.
The TSV Hildrizhausen running group wishes all participants a nice year of running and good preparation for October 19th. The event promises to be an unforgettable experience not only for experienced runners, but also for beginners and children. Despite the exciting new offers, there are currently no current options for the everyone and junior classification of the Schönbuch Cup; this remains at “3 out of 6 runs”, with the run in Kuppingen being the last event.
TSV Hildrizhausen cordially invites all “juniors” or “everyone” to take part in a 10 km competition in Hildrizhausen. The event promises an excellent opportunity to compete with other running enthusiasts in a great environment.
