SG H2Ku Herrenberg: Promotion to the Oberliga after misleading communication!
The SG H2Ku Herrenberg has finally received clarity regarding its league affiliation after a misunderstanding of communication. As krzbb.de reports, the handball team will compete in the top league next season. The decision not to remain in the Regionalliga Baden-Württemberg was announced last Friday. The correction of the previous misinterpretation was officially clarified by the Baden-Württemberg Handball Association on its online platforms.
An exciting derby in the top league is now coming up for SG H2Ku Herrenberg, which is causing anticipation among the players and fans.
Youth support and handball school
In parallel to the current developments in the adult sector, the youth department of SG H2Ku Herrenberg is also showing impressive progress. According to information on sgh2ku.com, the handball school's activities include current preparations for the 2023/2024 indoor round, in which the SG will be competing with a total of 23 youth teams. Around 420 children and young people are looked after by 60 trainers, which forms a strong foundation for the future of the handball community.
The handball school, which is entering its fourth season, has trained seven new licensed coaches in the last two years. The goal of having a licensed coach in every team is increasingly being achieved. The D youth teams demonstrated their strength at the district game festival and are evenly divided into performance classes.
Sustainable development and community spirit
Particular attention is also paid to the young players' ability to play as well as their coordination and athletic development. The children from the Minis, F-Youths and E-Youths experience exciting talent competitions and compete in the 4+1 on the small field. A highlight was the successful participation in the youth tournament in Wangen after a long break as well as the journey to the Allgäu Cup with two large buses and an overnight stay in large tents.
In the coming winter round of 2023/2024, everyone involved is hoping for an exciting and injury-free time. The development of the handball school continues to progress and the team around Marcel Kohler largely remains in place while the search for supporters and new coaches continues.
