Big community festival in Böblingen: celebrations, food and thanksgiving for everyone!

An exciting event is coming up in Böblingen: On Sunday, October 5th, the Ev. The Böblingen parish cordially invites you to a community festival. The event will take place in the Ecumenical Community Center, Freiburger Allee 40, and begins at 11:15 a.m. with a festive service that is open to all generations from 0 to 99 years old. A special highlight will be the farewell to Brigitte Bauer, the long-standing parish office secretary. This opportunity will be used to recognize their many years of cooperation and achievements.

After the service, visitors can look forward to a varied program. Guests can look forward to a delicious lunch, while there are play and craft stations and a bouncy castle for the little ones. Adults are also invited to relax and chat with coffee and cake. The event therefore offers space for community, exchange and joy.

Special commitment and musical highlights

A special part of the festival is the ceremonial opening of the “open bicycle workshop” to mark the 10th anniversary of the Friends of Refugee Aid. This initiative offers everyone interested the opportunity to get to know the valuable work on site. The open bicycle workshop will offer the opportunity to find out more about supporting refugees in Böblingen.

The community festival concludes with a musical Thanksgiving devotional at 5:00 p.m., performed by the Our Father choir. This devotion will round off the festive atmosphere throughout the day and offer participants a contemplative end.

All Böblingen residents are invited to join in the celebration and experience a day full of enjoyment, gratitude and encounters together.
