The modernized Karoli outdoor swimming pool in Waldkirchen was ceremoniously opened on June 6, 2025. Attractions and infrastructure

The outdoor pool now offers a variety of modern water attractions. In the non-swimmer area, visitors can expect a massage bench and a water mushroom, while the swimmers' pool does not have a diving tower, but does have a 4-meter-high climbing wall. A new children's playground complements the children's pool, making the facility particularly family-friendly.

The outdoor areas have also been redesigned. Here you will find spacious sunbathing lawns, a modern lounge area and a future beach volleyball court. In addition to these leisure options, a 600 square meter solar absorber area ensures environmentally friendly water heating. The new sanitary facilities and changing rooms are barrier-free and offer non-slip floor coverings, which significantly improves accessibility for all visitors.

Opening times and future events

The Karoli outdoor pool is open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. A 96 meter long adventure slide will be put into operation later this year, which is already creating additional anticipation. The official inauguration ceremony will take place on July 18, 2025, with a grand celebration day on July 19. Entry will be free on the day and there will be a range of activities including fitness classes, aqua fit, mermaid swimming, bouncy castles, bars, crepe stands and DJ entertainment.
