The number of convertibles in Freyung-Grafenau has continued to fall - a trend is clear!

In Germany, the number of registered convertibles is falling, as current statistics from the Federal Motor Transport Authority show. A total of 2.18 million convertibles are registered nationwide. In the Freyung-Grafenau district there are 1,728 vehicles, which means a decrease of three convertibles compared to the previous year. The share of convertibles in the total number of cars in this district is 3.13 percent. In a nationwide comparison of districts, Freyung-Grafenau ranks 320th out of a total of 399 districts in terms of convertible registrations, as the PNP reports.

According to the surveys of the Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt, the annual count of vehicle stocks includes both vehicles and trailers, which are displayed in the Central Vehicle Register on January 1st. It is important to note that vehicles that are unfit to drive are not recorded, but vehicles with seasonal license plates are included in the statistics. The total number of vehicles and trailers in Germany amounted to 69.1 million on January 1, 2024. Of these, 49.1 million are passenger cars (passenger cars).
