Detlev Giesert from Gäufelden passes the demanding 2nd Dan exam!

Detlev Giesert from the Dojo Jiriki in Gäufelden has successfully passed the 2nd Dan exam in karate. This demanding exam, which requires high concentration and perfect technique, represents a significant challenge for many karateka. Giesert prepared intensively for this moment for almost a whole year after he achieved 1st Dan five years ago. His wish was to test under the guidance of Shihan Hideo Ochi (9th Dan), but he had to cancel due to illness.

The test was led by national coach Thomas Schulze (7th Dan), who made a significant contribution to the success of the test with his expertise and experience. The dojo environment and professional instruction helped Giesert demonstrate his skills and take his next step in martial arts.

Course weekend in Hennef

The training of karate teachers, as described in the teaching concept “Karate Teacher I”, requires continuous development of knowledge. Deepening and expanding your martial arts knowledge plays a crucial role here. The content focuses on various areas, from practice to self-defense to meditation. For karateka aged around 25 years and over with a minimum degree of 1 Dan, such training courses are an excellent opportunity to expand and pass on their knowledge.

In summary, Detlev Giesert's recently successfully completed exam and the positive experiences from the course in Hennef show how deeply rooted the passion for karate is in the community. The combination of personal commitment and professional guidance is the key to continued progress in martial arts.

We warmly congratulate Detlev Giesert on passing his exam and wish him all the best for his future challenges in karate.
