The "Bondorf senior meeting" celebrates its two -year existence this year. The members of the Bondorf village community center meet every month for various events. In the course of 2024/2025, numerous lectures were offered, including on important topics such as "avoiding accidents in the household" and the history of the village. The contributions by Manfred Wetzel, which has enriched the history of village with interesting presentations, including "Bächtlefest Anno dazumal" and "Our Bondorf before", are particularly noteworthy. In June there was a barbecue for the senior citizens in Bondorf. Despite the trendy severe weather warnings, which only arrived in the evening, the festival was enjoyed with 25 people present in a convivial atmosphere at the grill field. H. Locher, the former chairman of the Leisure and Cultural Association Bondorf, thanked the organizers for the successful implementation of the events as part of the "Senior meeting".
The foundation stone for senior citizens' work in Bondorf already laid the community working group in 2013. Representatives of the community, churches, clubs and committed fellow citizens are linked here, with the motto: "A network for seniors - participate and be there!" The main goals of the working group are the support and enabling of cooperation in senior citizens' work.
