This 8-member transcultural group of musicians has the potential to turn the music world on its head and is ready to overcome barriers between cultures in a breathtaking show that will have the audience shaking with excitement!
Founded in 2018 by the Altdorf cultural initiative TheVagari has already won an incredible number of hearts. The band brings together artists from Algeria, France, Italy and Germany and celebrates the diversity and beauty of the international folk tradition with their music. your first album,“Bursting Bubbles”, is sung in five different languages and offers a fascinating mix of folk, rock, swing and electro - a MUST for every music lover!
A carpet of sounds from different cultures
DieVagari is the perfect example of how music acts as a powerful tool to celebrate differences and create new things. Their acoustic arrangements are not just sounds - they are emotional experiences that have their roots in rich traditions and combine them with modern elements by integrating electric bass, electric guitar and drums into an originally acoustic line-up.

With ten mesmerizing compositions on their debut album, released February 2024, they show the world that music never stands still.
