A village is upside down! Today, July 8, 2025, Dachtel celebrates its incredible 750th anniversary. A spectacle that ignites people's hearts and transforms the story of a former arch-enemy into a communal celebration. What once existed between Dachtel and Deufringen is difficult to grasp. YEARS OF GALITIC CONFLICT, tensions and CONFLICTS shaped the fate of these two places, which more than five decades ago still belonged to different districts. KRZBB reports that ... the border disputes on the Schallenberg were riddled with clashes!
The past WE can only be described as SENSATIONAL! Mayor Helena Österle and a number of local representatives opened the festivities today with the traditional tapping of the barrel, which will last throughout the weekend. A spectacle full of emotions and a sense of community that even reaches the USA!
A celebration of community

The residents of Dachtel and Deufringen, as different as they used to be, have come together to celebrate the change. The weather was perfect, the mood was charged!
