New boxing stable in Wangen: Timo Schwarzkopf turns dream into reality!

In Wangen im Allgäu, the boxing stable of Festim Kryeziu, better known as Timo Schwarzkopf, celebrated its opening on October 31st. With a spacious training area of 630 square meters and a six by six meter ring that bears the Schwarzkopf name, the stable offers a home for boxers of all ages and genders. The experienced fighter, who has achieved success in Olympic boxing and professional boxing, wants to create a space where respect, discipline, passion and community are encouraged. The training will be open to women, men and children, and Schwarzkopf has already announced that boxers from BC Wangen, where he himself learned to box, are welcome.

Schwarzkopf, 34 years old, has won 22 of 28 professional fights in his career and was the IBF International Welterweight Champion. He realized his dream of owning his own boxing stable after seven years of hard work. The new stable is planning five daily courses and would like to host one or two professional boxing evenings per year. Schwarzkopf also aims to pass on his experiences to clubs and schools in order to promote professional boxing in the Wangen region.

Partnership with O1NE.Sport

In addition to opening his new boxing stable, Timo Schwarzkopf has also signed a contract with the Berlin sports management and marketing agency O1NE.Sport. This strategic partnership comes after a challenging period which coincided with the exit of his former managers Alexander and Boris Zastrow from the boxing business. Schwarzkopf emphasizes that a trustworthy team is very important to him, comparable to what supported him before. Daniel Todorovic, the founder of O1NE.Sport, describes Schwarzkopf as one of the best boxers and shows great enthusiasm about the collaboration. This partnership aims to specifically shape his career and pursue his goal of becoming world champion.

With a previous record of 20 wins, including 12 by knockout, and only 4 defeats, Schwarzkopf is ready to commit to the upcoming fights in his hometown of Wangen. Despite an unfortunate loss to Jack Catterall in Dubai, he wants to continue competing against tough opponents and is taking the necessary steps to improve his fitness and performance. Three fights are planned in 2020 to cement his return to the ring.

Regional development through boxing

With his new boxing stable and the collaboration with O1NE.Sport, Timo Schwarzkopf not only wants to further advance his career, but also make a contribution to the development of boxing in the Wangen region. By opening the stable to different age groups and involving local clubs, a connection to the community is to be created. Schwarzkopf himself sees this as an opportunity to offer other young talents a platform and to sustainably promote interest in boxing.

The boxing stable on Karl-Sauermann-Straße will not only be a training location, but also a meeting place for boxers and boxing enthusiasts, which will further revitalize the sport in Wangen im Allgäu. It remains exciting to see how Timo Schwarzkopf's plans will develop and what impulses he can provide in regional boxing.
