On September 27, 2025, Stuttgart-West with the Hali Cafe A new type of café opened at Forststrasse 167. Behind this innovative concept is Vietnamese-born Hanh Duong, who impresses with her passion for baking and her creative recipes.
Hanh Duong, who honed her baking skills in her own home for a long time, offers an exciting selection of cakes and snacks. Their range includes airy roll cakes and delicate crepe cakes that impress with their Asian-influenced style. Unlike many traditional baked goods, her creations are less sweet and enriched with tropical flavors and exciting flavor combinations.
A versatile brunch menu
Hali Café also surprises with an extensive brunch menu that includes savory crepes, bowls and bagels with kimchi and beef. Particularly noteworthy is the “Zen Garden Sandwich”, which features avocado, smoked salmon and a teriyaki sauce. For coffee lovers, the cafe offers Vietnamese coffee made from Robusta beans from Vietnam, as well as numerous matcha variations such as blueberry and raspberry rose.
To ensure the quality of the matcha, Hanh tested over 20 suppliers before choosing her current premium organic ceremonial matcha. This attention to detail runs through their entire offering and shows their commitment to high-quality and tasteful baking.
From hobby to professional passion
Hanh Duong's journey to becoming a café owner is impressive. Before she founded Hali Café, baking was more than just a hobby for her; it was a real obsession. She worked in business consulting and product management, but used the early morning hours to improve her baking skills by developing new recipes. Today she also runs a baking blog that has over 120,000 followers on social media, giving her a large fan base.
In 2024, Hanh moved to Paris to study at the renowned Ferrandi School of Patisserie. Her goal is to share the passion and her dreams with others through Hali Home Bakes. This journey is also reflected in the unique offerings of Hali Café, which, in addition to delicious baked goods, also conveys a sense of community and culture.
With her new café in Stuttgart, Hanh Duong shows that she not only has a talent for baking, but also a vision for a gastronomic experience that is tastefully appealing and culturally enriching.
