New bar paradise at Marienplatz: Brother Louis for wine lovers!
A new world of experience for wine and cocktail lovers will soon be opening at Marienplatz in Stuttgart. Uwe Heine and Tobias Lindner, former bartenders at the renowned Jigger and Spoon, are bringing a fresh concept to the city with the new bar “Brother Louis”. The opening is planned for mid-October 2025, but exact dates have not yet been set Stuttgart News reported.
The bar will be located in the former Madagascar Restaurant and will exude the opulent interior of the Baroque style. The focus is on wines, particularly from German wine regions such as Württemberg, Palatinate, Baden and Moselle, as well as selected French and Portuguese varieties. In addition, there will be a variety of wine cocktails.
Innovative non-alcoholic options
A special aspect of the bar is its range of high-quality non-alcoholic drinks. Heine and Lindner have recognized that the demand for varied-tasting alternatives to alcoholic drinks is increasing. In line with the trend towards conscious consumption and a healthy lifestyle, guests at “Brother Louis” will also find creative non-alcoholic cocktails that are already causing a sensation in the industry. The most sought-after trends include, for example, the floral Lav'a Belle Sour and the aromatic Rooibos Negroni, which impress both in taste and visually.
The bar will also provide a small, fine dining offering. The snacks and small dishes are partly homemade and are created in collaboration with other catering professionals. The team is supported by experienced employees, including Udo Bosch and Lisa Neubauer, who already have a name in the scene.
The concept and opening times
Another interesting aspect of the bar is the planned opening time. The plan is to open at 1 or 2 p.m. on weekends, which will give guests the opportunity to enjoy so-called “day drinking.” This concept particularly appeals to the younger target group who want to have stimulating conversations in a relaxed atmosphere while enjoying high-quality drinks.
“Brother Louis” will not just be a bar, but a place where enjoyment and conviviality are very important. Angularity paired with warm hospitality should make the bar the meeting point in Stuttgart that many are waiting for. The team is ready to put their vision into action and develop the bar into a new hotspot in the city. Those interested can find further information on the website Kettle TV.
