Summer night concerts on Killesberg: Big stars do the honors!

Music lovers can look forward to a varied concert program this summer in the Killesberg Park in Stuttgart, which begins on June 18th. The season promises a platform for big stars from different music genres. Loud Moritz The opening concert will be hosted by the well-known rock band Beatsteaks, who have released their ninth studio album “PLEASE”. The band has developed a loyal fan base over the years and remains creatively active even after almost 30 years in the music business.

The program includes numerous highlights and well-known artists. Ronan Keating will take the stage on June 26th, followed by Patti Smith, who will revive musical memories of the 70s on July 2nd. The Stadtwerke Stuttgart Light Festival on July 12th promises a visual and acoustic celebration, while a capella supergroup Voces8 and Friends will provide a unique experience on July 18th.

Diverse line-up

The events are not only diverse, but also steeped in history. Heinz Rudolf Kunze will celebrate his 40th stage anniversary on July 19th with his classic “Yours is my whole heart”. The Sparda Klassik Open Air will take place on July 23rd, followed by Samu Haber on July 25th, who will delight his fans with his unmistakable voice.

The “SWR1 Pop & Poetry” event will take place on July 26th and The Dead South will rock the stage on August 1st. The Irish band Fontaines D.C. will provide a rousing concert on August 20th, before Giovanni Zarrella concludes the concert series on September 6th with a mixture of Italian classics and German hits.

All concerts will be on the CITIZEN open-air stage performed, which is known for its great atmosphere and good acoustics. Tickets and further information are available on the BÜRGER Freilichtbühne website.

In their new album “PLEASE”, the Beatsteaks show that they don’t let creative exhaustion stop them and impress with haunting lyrics and powerful vocals.
