SV Böblingen: Swimmers shine at competitions in Backnang and Feuerbach!

The SV Böblingen swimming department showed impressive performances in two competitions in May 2025. The club's athletes competed at both the Backnanger Swimming Festival and the Beaver Cup in Feuerbach and achieved several top placings.

The Böblingen swimmers were able to achieve the following successes at the Backnanger Swimming Festival. Moritz Hüttmann (born 2012) secured the bronze medal in the 50 meter freestyle and breaststroke. Lotta (born 2013) swam the 50 meter backstroke to gold. Jana Leber (born 2015) was also extremely successful and won gold in the 50 meter backstroke and breaststroke, as well as second place in the 100 meter backstroke and third place in the 100 meter breaststroke. Lissi Müller (born 2015) achieved silver in the 50 meter freestyle and bronze in the 50 meter backstroke.

Successes at the Beaver Cup

A week after the successes in Backnang, the swimmers competed in the Biber Cup in Feuerbach. Here Janosch Högner (born 2016) set impressive accents with gold in the 50 and 100 meter breaststroke as well as silver in the 50 meter backstroke and freestyle. Luna Johrden (born 2014) was able to secure the silver medal in the 50 meter butterfly and several bronze medals in the 50 meter backstroke, 50 meter freestyle and 100 meter individual medley. Pawel Krantz (born 2012) also achieved first-class results: He won gold in the 100 meter breaststroke, freestyle and individual medley, while he had to settle for bronze in the 100 meter backstroke.

The achievements of the youngest members of the team are particularly worth mentioning. Nina Eckstein (born 2019) took first place in the 25 meter freestyle, while Finley Hasbrouck (born 2019) in the 25 meter backstroke and Ole Nienaber (born in 2018) also won in the 25 meter breaststroke. Boru Zhou (born 2016) managed to take first place in the 100 meter backstroke, and Leia Katharina Ludwig (born 2014) triumphed in the 100 meter backstroke and freestyle. Adrian Beyer (born 2012) also demonstrated his qualities with a first place in the 100 meter backstroke.

SV Böblingen not only offers swimming, but also has a wide range of departments, including aikido, badminton, basketball, bowling and many more. The training options extend to various locations in Böblingen, including the BBG Arena, the outdoor pool and several sports halls. These regions are used daily from Monday to Sunday to best support participants of all ages, from 0 to 99 years old. The club facility also offers the option for live online training via ZOOM, which makes training even more flexible.
