110 students say goodbye to the Mannlich secondary school in Zweibrücken!
On Friday evening, the Mannlich-Realschule plus in Zweibrücken said goodbye to a total of 110 students. Among the graduates were 18 ninth graders and 92 tenth graders. The graduation ceremony served not only to recognize the students' achievements, but also as an opportunity to take a closer look at the different classes.
In the classes that leave the school there are students from different places. In class 9a, for example, there are 10 students from Zweibrücken, as well as one student each from Winterbach, Althornbach, Contwig, Hornbach, Rosenkopf, Ernstweiler, Schmitshausen, Rieschweiler-Mühlbach and Wallhalben. In class 10a there are 12 students from Zweibrücken and one each from Homburg, Blieskastel, Ernstweiler, Rieschweiler-Mühlbach and Wallhalben. The other classes also show a colorful mix of names and places of origin.
Outstanding achievements
Particularly noteworthy are the excellent achievements of individual graduates. In class 10b, Selina Glahn and Aaliyah Gundacker, both with a grade average of 1.4, achieved the double best in the class. In the 10c, Lina Bernhard and Tim Glahn also achieved 1.5. Jennifer Dietz from class 10d was the school's best with an excellent grade point average of 1.2 and received special recognition for her achievements in German, English, history and for her commitment to the MINT area.
In addition, Oliver Jaenicke was recognized for his outstanding achievements in social studies and chemistry. Kathrin Herzog received a special honor for her extraordinary social commitment.
Plans for the future
The Mannlich-Realschule not only represents the end of an era for the graduates, but also looks towards planning for the future. The school has already organized the return of textbooks for the coming school year. Return slips were distributed to all participants in the 2024/25 textbook loan from June 18th. Books will not be returned to school. In addition, registration for textbook lending for the next school year was required by June 12th at the latest so that students can receive all the necessary documents in a timely manner. Parents are asked to ensure that the documents are passed on to them in order to successfully complete the registration.
The school authority of the city of Zweibrücken is available to parents if they have any questions. From the 2024/25 school year, the digital platform Schulcampus RLP will be introduced, providing all students with new access. This shows the school's commitment to continually modernizing and improving the education of its students.
