SENSATION: Little inventors conquer the market fountain with solar boats!

In a WORLD full of challenges and concerns about the environment, brave children in Winnenden dared to shape the future with their own hands! During the summer holidays, these little inventors built solar boats in a breathtaking course at the adult education center (VHS), which have now been tested in the market fountain! And with great success! ZVW reports that ...

The sensational test took place in the middle of the glittering water surface, where the children's self-made miracles were used. These creative minds, who are allowed to take part in the course from the age of seven, have proven that they can harness the power of solar energy with their own hands! A truly inspiring image that inspires hope for our green future!

A course that changes the world!

The course leader, Viola Maier, accompanies the little engineers with passion and dedication. Their tireless support meant that the boats not only worked, but also taught an important lesson in sustainability. But that's not all! These amazing initiatives are not just limited to Winnenden - towns like Fellbach, Schorndorf and Weinstadt are ready to support more young talent! After all, it is THE future we need!

But while these children are learning the basics of solar energy, another spectacular event is unfolding in Stralsund - the annual solar boat race! Since 2016, this idyllic location has been transformed into the battlefield for self-built solar boats, which compete against each other for the title of the fastest and most beautiful boats. Energietag reports that...

Fast-paced race for the environment!

The excitement surrounding the solar boat race can hardly be put into words. Students from primary and secondary schools have the unique opportunity to submit their creative designs to the competition! And the best thing about it: It's not just speed that counts! The boats have to be stable, float and have space for a solar module - a real challenge for the thinking minds of tomorrow!

In this exciting competition, participants have two categories to choose from: the classic solar boat race and the breathtaking 3D printing race, where innovative technologies are applied to create the boats! The possibilities are endless! But the registration deadline for the workshop is fast approaching - the chances of fame and honor are rare!

A look into the green future

But the shock continues! The world is changing and with it our use of resources. HT4U shows that... Sustainability is no longer just a buzzword, but a central theme of 2024. Companies and technology developers are doing everything they can to drastically reduce CO2 emissions and develop environmentally friendly technologies that could save our planet!

From renewable energies to recycling to sustainable construction – the approaches to combating climate change are as diverse as they are revolutionary. Children experimenting with solar boats are the true pioneers of the eco-friendly movement. They show that change is not only possible, but already underway!

Where will this journey take us? What SHOCKING techniques will we discover in the future? These young innovators have laid the foundation for a greener, brighter world. Your solar boats are much more than just toys - they are our future. Cheers to the environment, to creativity and to the children who dare to make the impossible possible!
