These creative minds, who are allowed to take part in the course from the age of seven, have proven that they can harness the power of solar energy with their own hands! The course leader, Viola Maier, accompanies the little engineers with passion and dedication. Their tireless support meant that the boats not only worked, but also taught an important lesson in sustainability. But that's not all! The excitement surrounding the solar boat race can hardly be put into words. Students from primary and secondary schools have the unique opportunity to submit their creative designs to the competition! And the best thing about it: It's not just speed that counts! In this exciting competition, participants have two categories to choose from: the classic solar boat race and the breathtaking 3D printing race, where innovative technologies are applied to create the boats!
