On June 27th and 28th, 2025, the Remspromenade in Plüderhausen will be the festive backdrop for the “Rems in Flames” event. This highlight of the event series not only celebrates the beauty of the region, but also honors the 125th anniversary of the Plüderhausen community band. Chairman Florian Loup and his team promise a varied program that will delight young and old.
The event kicks off on Friday, June 27th at 6 p.m. with a traditional beer tapping. Visitors can look forward to a 30 liter keg of free beer, provided by Sokratis Sirtmatsis. The afternoon party begins with a supporting program by “The Little Occupation”, a young formation that presents Bohemian and Moravian brass music. From 7.30 p.m. the cover band “Jimmy and the gang” will create a great atmosphere, led by frontman Markus “Jimmy” Lehmann. The atmosphere is also completed by fairy lights, torches and illuminated trees along the bank.
Diverse offers on Saturday
The second day of the event, Saturday, June 28th, begins with catering from 5 p.m. and a performance by the Schorndorf Youth Wind Orchestra under the direction of Oliver Väth, which plays from 6 to 7 p.m. As the main act, the band “Live Rockin' Five” will lift the mood on the river stage at 8 p.m. with their cover rock classics from the 70s and 80s. The event reaches its climax with an impressive musical fireworks display by Pyrunion, which is lit in the evening to the tune of a well-known song by the band.
Visitors are encouraged to arrive early to secure good spots along the Castle Trail. The culinary offering includes rich dishes as well as exquisite wines from Italy and from Fellbach winegrowers. Another highlight is the balloon glow with model balloons, which can be admired on the middle Rems Bridge.
“Rems in Flames” promises to be an unforgettable event for the entire family.
