Big citizens' festival: Kernen celebrates 50 years with an anthem and live music!

The celebrations for the community's 50th anniversary are approaching in Kernen in the Remstal. The premiere of the Kernen anthem will take place in a celebratory setting on June 1, 2025. This special event will begin at 11 a.m. on the grounds of the Konzmann Winery. The anthem, which will be presented by a total of 130 musicians, is intended to enrich the festive framework of the citizens' festival, which brings together numerous citizens and actors.

The community festival starts at 10 a.m. with an ecumenical open-air service organized by the churches in Kernen and the trombone choir. The service will also take place on the grounds of the Konzmann winery, before the official opening by Mayor Benedikt Paulowitsch at 11 a.m. This guarantees a happy and communal start to the festival, which is celebrated on the section of the K1857 district road between Rommelshausen and Stetten.

Over 60 participants from various areas will set up their stands on the event site.
