Hit and run and traffic accidents: shocking reports from the region!

In the early hours of today, the police in Winterbach were called to an incident on Schorndorfer Straße. Between 7:40 a.m. and 12:05 p.m., a parked Opel was damaged by an unknown road user who presumably pushed in the driver's door while reversing. The driver left the scene of the accident without permission. The police are now looking for witnesses who can provide relevant information. Please call 07181 2040 to clarify the incident. Another traffic incident occurred on the same day in Fellbach, where a 27-year-old driver of a Ford Transit damaged a 36-year-old's Opel Astra while reversing out of a parking space. This happened around 8:40 a.m. and resulted in property damage amounting to several hundred euros. Fortunately, everyone involved was uninjured.

Later in the afternoon, at 1:20 p.m., there was also a traffic accident in Allmersbach im Tal. A 30-year-old driver of a Toyota lost control of her vehicle on Schorndorfer Straße (L1080) between Todaynsbach and Königsbronnhof. The car skidded and drove into the adjacent grass verge, leaving the driver with minor injuries. The vehicle then had to be towed away.

The Federal Statistical Office has also issued a warning. There are currently fake cover letters in circulation requesting data reporting in the name of the office for a non-existent study on international economic relations. These letters threatening legal action contain false contact information, including a nonexistent email address. The Federal Office has made it clear that neither it nor Eurostat is conducting such a study and that no data will be collected for these purposes. Citizens who receive such a letter should do nothing and ignore the request, as Destatis informed.
