After being closed for over a year, the Heubacher outdoor pool will reopen on June 19, 2025 at 2 p.m. The closure became necessary after urgent renovation work had to be carried out last season. These included the demolition of the old filter systems, the renovation of the underground technical room and extensive concrete renovation. Despite initial forecasts from Mayor Dr. Joy Alemazung, which expected to reopen in May, the cost of the renovation was increased from the original 700,000 euros to over 1 million euros. Opening hours

The outdoor pool will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. from June to August. In the months of May and September it will be accessible from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. In case of bad weather, opening times are limited to 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. Due to the annual renovation, the Heubacher indoor swimming pool will be closed for the summer months from June 27th.
