On June 1, 2025, the highly anticipated Schlossberg Experience Day took place in Heidenheim, attracting families and visitors of all ages. In the picturesque surroundings of Hellenstein Castle and its extensive grounds, the program ran from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and offered a wealth of activities and culinary delights.
In the castle's fountain garden, visitors could enjoy a diverse culinary offering, ranging from vegan and vegetarian dishes to pizza and sausages. The Heidenheim mountain rescue service offered an exciting 70-meter-long zip line, while the DRK rescue dog team presented a hands-on course and demonstrations. At the opera festival there were glimpses behind the scenes of the production of “Elektra”, face painting and a special competition.
In addition, guided tours and a white sausage breakfast took place in the natural theater, combined with interesting activities for children such as a play street and public rehearsals. 1. FC Heidenheim 1846 provided special highlights with a Paule training day and a rally. The ticket sales stand also offered the new FCH PUMA jerseys for the 2025/26 season.
Event highlights and surprises
The event not only offered a varied program, but also various competitions in which visitors could collect stamp cards at the prize stations. The prize draw took place at 4:30 p.m. in the Nature Theater and included hot air balloon rides, FCH jerseys, event tickets and numerous surprise packages.
