Amateur Champions League: More than 50 teams are fighting for the title!

On Saturday, June 14, 2025, the football event of the year will take place in the Donau/Iller district. FV Bellenberg will be the venue for the ERDINGER Masters Cup, which is known as the “Amateur Champions League” and brings together a total of 36 men’s and 18 women’s teams. Kick-off will take place at 10:30 a.m. on the Bellenberg sports grounds.

The tournament mode features a small-field format, playing five-on-five with one goalkeeper. The teams initially compete in preliminary round groups, followed by knockout rounds until the title of “Master of Masters” is finally awarded. Well-known favorites are also competing in the competition: SG Sonnenhof Großaspach is considered the men's team, while VfL Herrenberg is considered the potential winner for the women's team.

Last year's winners and other participants

The defending champions FC Hüttisheim, who went down in history as champions of the district league B, are aiming for the title again. The players Danijel Sutalo and Marco Hahn are central figures in the team. Other ambitious participants include SG Altheim, champions of the state league, and SV Alberweiler, champions of the association league.
