INCREDIBLE tragedy on the B328 near Pleidelsheim on Sunday! A fatal traffic accident shocked the Ludwigsburg region and caused the hearts of residents to beat in a sweat of fear. The devastating crash occurred around 11:20 a.m. when a 52-year-old man behind the wheel of his Audi RS Q3 tragically veered off the road to the right. What happened next is simply unimaginable!
The man lost control of his vehicle at breakneck speed and the turn of fate could no longer be stopped! The Audi crashed head-on into the oncoming Mazda CX-5 of a 72-year-old, who is still struggling with the consequences of this fatal collision to this day. Two people died in this horrific accident: the Audi driver and a 67-year-old passenger in the Mazda. This tragic outcome leaves us stunned!

After the catastrophic impact, the Mazda was thrown into the grass verge like a toy! The fire brigade, police and rescue workers responded with a huge effort - even a rescue helicopter was on site to rescue the dead and treat the injured. The material damage is also shocking: a total of 65,000 euros! The B328 remained completely closed in both directions until the evening while the cause of the accident was being carefully investigated by the public prosecutor's office.
Last weekend, however, there was more than just one terrible accident. In fact, the region has been rocked by several traffic dramas! A gruesome accident scenario also occurred on Friday afternoon, with cars being thrown off the road. A rear-end collision led to another head-on collision with at least one person seriously injured and several slightly injured. Rescue workers had to intervene as quickly as possible!

According to current data from the Federal Statistical Office, traffic deaths in Germany are steadily increasing! This frightening reality raises questions and leaves us in shock. More and more people are paying the ultimate price for incidents on our roads. Almost every day we receive reports of tragic accidents that should remind us to be more careful.
The shocking accident on the B328 is further sad evidence that we all need to be vigilant! The Ludwigsburg traffic police station is asking for information from witnesses in order to clarify the mysterious circumstances of this fateful accident. We must work together to ensure that such tragedies are prevented in the future!
