In the Rems-Murr district, commuters must expect significant restrictions on rail traffic in the coming weeks. A complete closure of the route between Fellbach and Bad Cannstatt will take place from December 1st to 21st, 2025. The reason for this measure is necessary construction work as part of the “Digital Hub Stuttgart” project, which also affects the Cannstatt train station and particularly affects platform 8. Commuters are being asked to switch to replacement buses as key S-Bahn services will not be available during this time.
