Diversity in the Kleihues building: Discover art and culture in June!

In June 2025, the museum in the Kleihues building in Kornwestheim will offer a diverse program that will benefit both art lovers and families. On the occasion of Ruprecht von Kaufmann's new exhibition entitled "The Last Act", visitors can experience numerous events that introduce the various aspects of art.

A public tour took place on Sunday, June 1, 2025, during which participants were given background information about the current exhibitions. For everyone who values ​​the combination of art and conviviality, the museum is offering an after work event on Friday, June 6, 2025. A highlight tour of Ruprecht von Kaufmann's exhibition begins at 4:30 p.m., followed by a relaxed atmosphere with a drink. The participation fee is EUR 12.00, including entry and drinks, although registration is required.

A variety of events for children and families

A special highlight for younger visitors is the family event on Sunday, June 8, 2025. Under the title “On the Trail of Art,” children aged six and over have the opportunity to get creative from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission is EUR 5.00 per child; Adults pay regular admission and registration is not required.

The museum also offers a holiday workshop for creative work. This will take place on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and is aimed at school children aged 6 to 12. Here the children can create their own works of art, although there is a participation fee of EUR 5.00 (including materials). Registration is also required here.

Guided tours with experts

The program also includes special tours for those interested in art. On Friday, June 27, 2025, there will be a public curator's tour with museum director Saskia Dams at 3:00 p.m. The costs here are only EUR 3.00 plus admission; prior registration is also necessary here.

Another highlight will be the expert tour of the “Otto Glaser” exhibition on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 3:00 p.m., which will be led by Urs Glaser, the artist’s son. Here too, the participation fee is EUR 3.00 plus admission, and registration is required.
