TBW Trophy: Dancing couples inspire at the tournament in Karlsdorf-Neuthard!

Last weekend was a highlight in the tournament calendar for numerous dance couples from Baden-Württemberg: The TBW Trophy took place in Karlsdorf-Neuthard. Dancers competed in a variety of categories to demonstrate their skills. As the Stuttgart News report, the event was an important touchstone for participants to assess their progress and explore the competitive conditions.

In the main group B Latin, Jonas Breuninger and Sabrina Bärlin managed to reach 4th place among 18 couples on Saturday, while on Sunday they took 6th place among 16 couples. Their peers Marius Breuninger and Ann-Kathrin Eisenhardt were less lucky on Sunday and ended up at the back of the field. In the main group D Latin, Dario Köhler and Alexa de Gruyter took 12th place out of 26 pairs, which left a good impression for them.

Performances of the Masters and other couples

The couple Jens Roth and Kristina Flaig delivered a remarkable result in the Masters I A Latin. They reached 5th place, but found that they could not build on their previous achievements. In the main group II A Latin, the same dancers secured 3rd place among 3 couples. The TBW Trophy has proven to be an important platform for determining the status and further development of the dancers.

On December 7th and 8th, 2024, couples from TSC Landau will also take part in the TBW Trophy in Reilingen, as shown on their website informed becomes. In their first tournament participation, Jutta and Gerald Holnburger achieved second place. This speaks for the talent and commitment of the dancers who want to establish themselves in the dance sport.

Looking into the future

The dance sports community is optimistic about the upcoming tournaments and sees the TBW Trophy as a valuable event to promote dance couples. The TSC Landau has also recently had eventful times, as shown by the successful return of Christian and Melanie Cantzler, who achieved 3rd place in the highest amateur dance class in standard dance, the main group II S Standard, at the state championships in Mainz-Hechtsheim.
