On May 28, 2025, a happy spring festival with a colorful program and regional delicacies took place at the St. Antonius Family Center in Gerlingen.

Last weekend, families from the region experienced a very special event: the spring festival “Spring Magic” in the St. Antonius Catholic Kindergarten family center in Gerlingen attracted numerous visitors. In bright sunshine, the event offered a perfect opportunity to spend a colorful afternoon in good company. The relaxed atmosphere encouraged friendly conversations among the visitors, who came not only from the community of Wenden, but also from the surrounding districts of Olpe and Siegen.
The children's center's courtyard café turned out to be the highlight of the festival. Homemade cakes, freshly brewed coffee and a selection of cakes were on offer here that hardly anyone could resist. The numerous stalls from regional suppliers also ensured a varied day and enabled guests to discover local products.
Entertainment for young and old
Particular attention is paid to the large spring flower on stilts, which was presented by “Kleinkunst Micha”. This attraction was particularly popular with children and made faces smile. The interplay of art and entertainment offered the little visitors an unforgettable experience and was a wonderful highlight of the festival.
The spring festival in Gerlingen is like the awakening of spring in nature – full of color and life. The organizational structure and the warm approach of the organizers contributed significantly to the success of the event.
