Domenico Tedesco was officially announced as Fenerbahce's new head coach today. The Turkish Süper Lig club has signed Tedesco as the successor to the sacked Jose Mourinho. Mourinho was sacked following a disappointing 1-0 aggregate defeat by Benfica in the Champions League play-off round at the end of August, which not only cost Fenerbahce a place in the final tournament but also tested the patience of the club's management.
