At around 3:50 p.m. an emergency call was made to the fire department after a parked car burst into flames for unknown reasons. A thick column of smoke was visible over the city during the fire, prompting a massive response from rescue workers.
The Kornwestheim fire department was immediately alerted and received support from firefighting groups from Ludwigsburg and Remseck. The emergency services had to extinguish several vehicles in the garage, which required quick and effective intervention. The scene of the fire was cordoned off to ensure the safety of residents. Fortunately, the fire department reported no injuries and the fire has now been extinguished.
Investigation into the cause of the fire
