Summer in Bietigheim: A festival of music and joy awaits you!
The city of Bietigheim-Bissingen can look forward to a varied summer with an extensive program of free concerts and special events. The summer program offers a variety of highlights for music lovers and families. The kick-off will take place on June 5th with a concert by Matthias Waßer in the town hall courtyard, followed by further performances by various artists who are characterized by different musical styles.

Festive highlights in July
Another highlight is the “Bietigheimer Wunderland”, which will take place in the old town on July 4th and 5th. This festival, held every other year in mid-July, offers a diverse program of artists on five stages, including jazz, blues rock, folk, R&B, alternative rock and swing. There are also cabaret, theater and artistic performances, as well as playful offerings from the Cologne Games Circus. Restaurateurs in the city center will ensure the physical well-being of the guests. Bietigheim Wonderland promises a celebration for the whole family.
Another festive occasion is the 50th anniversary holiday of Bietigheim-Bissingen, which is celebrated on July 6th in and around the EgeTrans Arena. The ceremony, under the motto “Bietigheim-Bissingen sings – your voice for the anniversary!”, begins at 11.30 a.m.
Family and cycling day
The summer months continue to be characterized by activities for young and old. Children and Family Day will take place on July 19th from 10 a.m. in various areas of the city, including the Bürgergarten and the Old Enz Bridge. On July 20th there will be a cycling day with bikers Daniel Rall and Oliver Widmann from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The summer holiday program is rounded off by the Bietigheim open-air cinema, which will take place in an open-air format from August 2nd to 10th, as well as the traditional Bietigheim horse market, which attracts numerous visitors from August 29th to September 2nd.
