Bietigheim Triathloncreated a euphoric atmosphere and expects a new record year with an incredible number of participants! Bietigheim newspaper reports on a perfectly organized event that makes even professional triathlons seem pale! The strategic success of the organizers, Hermann Grün and Axel Förste, was celebrated frenetically by the participants!
Saints and Champions! Women and men of all ages threw themselves into the tense atmosphere, and despite the initial nervousness, the organizers belied any concerns with a smooth event. Over 140 champions honored in on an insane adventure - a kids triathlon that took place as part of the city's anniversary "50 years of Bietigheim-Bissingen"! This mega-prepared event crowned the first city champions in the mini and midi triathlon categories!
A treat for the youngest athletes
Were you there? Children aged 6 to 15 stormed the track! This was the first children's triathlon in Bietigheim and replaced the previous children's duathlon. Reporting from the Bietigheim swimming club explains that the kids swam in the “Bad am Viadukt” indoor pool before cycling and running. And the routes? Simply unique! A nerve-wracking competition, divided into two breathtaking rounds: the mini course for the little ones and the midi course for the big heroes!
With the help of countless helpers and security guards, the event was a real hit. One winner commented that the organization was “better than many professional triathlons”! Can you believe that? We're talking about a sensational performance here!
