Porsche Turbo Award 2025: Attention, talents in sports honored!

On May 30, 2025, a special honor for 21 outstanding young athletes from seven partner clubs took place in the Porsche Museum. This event was accompanied by Sami Khedira, a well-known Porsche brand ambassador, who has been supporting Porsche youth development since 2018. This was the tenth presentation of the Porsche Turbo Award, which is presented as part of the “Turbo for Talents” program. The winners were recognized in three categories: “Best Athletic Development,” “Best Academic Achievement” and “Exceptional Social Commitment.” Porsche reports that the talents received personalized awards, certificates, a driving license subsidy of 500 euros and a seedling as part of the “Talents Hand in Hand” initiative.

The event took place at the Porsche Experience Center (PEC) Hockenheimring, where Khedira and other prominent guests were able to give the young athletes an insight into professional sports life. In addition to the award ceremony, the program also included interactive offers such as an insight talk with Bastian Buus, racing simulator challenges and activities with a soccer freestyler.

Social responsibility

Porsche Youth Promotion is committed to supporting the sporting, social and personal development of children and young people. Under the motto “Turbo for talents”, young athletes from various disciplines are supported. The commitment extends to football, ice hockey and basketball. This is also confirmed by the [University of Tübingen](https://uni-tuebingen.de/fakultaeten/wirtschafts-und-socialWissenschafte-fakultaet/faecher/fachbereich-socialwissen/sport Wissenschaft/institut/arbeitsbereich/sportpsychologie-und-methodlehre/forschung/identification-und-entwicklung-von-talenten-im-sport/), which emphasizes the importance of sustainable talent development in sport. Real success requires the identification and promotion of talents that gain importance not only in sporting terms but also in their personal development.

This initiative is not only an opportunity for young athletes, but also a sign of the social responsibility that companies like Porsche take to create the foundations for the future of sport.
