Success story of the Adonia Musical
The enthusiasm for the adonia musical "Moses-saved and freed" is not new. During an earlier performance on April 10, 2025, 70 young people from Lower Saxony performed in the Bellenkolkhalle in Eschede. This event once again showed how the musical captivates the spectators and gives up the biblical story. The event was organized in cooperation with the Evangelical Lutheran Johanniskirchengemeinde Eschede and Adonia e.V.
The 90-minute stage program consisted of a mixture of music, acting and dance and offered the young actors the opportunity to develop their skills during a seven-day camp. There the young people worked intensively on the musical, rehearsals with three days and four days on tour. Philina Hutschenreuter, who headed the camp, expressed very positively about the trial days and emphasized the creative atmosphere and the community experience, which was of central importance for everyone involved.
diverse engagements in the sense of the community
The concept of the Adonia musical camps has established itself nationwide, with over 70 project choirs and around 4,500 young people discover the colorful world of theater and music every year. The focus is not only on artistic experience, but also on promoting the sense of community among the participants. At the appearance in Eschede, Pastor Franziska Baden spoke to those present and thanked the Stechert family for their commitment, which contributed to the realization of the concert.
The continuing popularity of the Adonia musical shows that the combination of multi-layered biblical narrative, rousing music and the use of young talents is very respected. This makes Adonia and young people a sign of inspiration, community and cultural enrichment that goes far beyond the framework of a classic concert. Further events and performances are eagerly awaited because they will continue to reach the hearts of many people.
