The Willa Lentza in Szczecin will be the venue for a special piano concert next Saturday, June 7, 2025 from 7:00 p.m. Filipino-American pianist Jim-Isaac Chua will showcase his skills in a program that includes masterpieces by Franz Schubert, Fryderyk Chopin and Maurice Ravel. This event entitled "Fryderyk Chopin w Willi Lentza. Dzieła wszystkie" promises not only musical excellence, but also an insight into the extensive repertoire of one of the most outstanding pianists of our time.

Jim-Isaac Chua, who made his debut at Carnegie Hall in 2009, has since performed in countries such as the USA, Canada, Poland, France, Italy, Austria and Southeast Asia. His development as an artist has been recognized by numerous awards in competitions, and critics praise his playing as “outstanding pianistic mastery and artistry.” For the 2023/2024 season, Chua plans to give over 40 concerts worldwide, which will take him to France, Austria and the Philippines, among others, while he currently lives in Poland and aims to regularly enrich the country with his music.

• Fryderyk Chopin: Mazurki cis-moll, op. 50 Nr. 3; Ballade Nr. 4 f-moll; Andante spianato und Großer Polonaise Brillante op. 22

Commitment and recognition

Jim-Isaac Chua is known for his community involvement and has raised over $200,000 for various humanitarian projects, including support for organizations such as Grace Clinic, Habitat for Humanity and The Arc Foundation. In addition to his artistic career, Chua has also studied at renowned music colleges such as the Eastman School of Music and the Akademia Muzyczna im. Karola Szymanowskiego, studied, which further strengthened his technical skills and sensitivity on the piano.
