Attention whiskey lovers: gourmet experience at LindenGut!
On June 28, 2025, an unforgettable whiskey tasting will take place in the picturesque LindenGut, which should attract all whiskey lovers in Stuttgart and the surrounding area. Organized by the renowned Scotch Malt Whiskey Society (SMWS), which was founded in 1983 and is known for its exceptional single cask whiskeys, the event begins at 3 p.m. with a reception by Anja Lindner. Guests can look forward to coffee and cake before going on an exclusive tour of the farm with an integrated slaughterhouse.
From 6:30 p.m., a BBQ with products from the in-house kitchen will be served outdoors, while a total of eight carefully selected whiskeys can be tasted. The tasting will be led by Gregor Haslinger, an ambassador from Frankfurt, who will guide participants through the delicious bottlings. Interestingly, the SMWS tastings are not only open to members, but also to all whiskey fans, which makes the event particularly inviting.
Culinary experiences as part of the events
The Scotch Malt Whiskey Society is one of the largest clubs for whiskey lovers in the world and regularly organizes tastings in Germany. In June 2023, several such events took place in different cities, including Stuttgart on June 22nd. Known for its diverse bottlings, SMWS offers a combination of whiskey with outdoor dining experiences. There was also a similar event in Frankfurt on June 28th at the Biohotel LindenGut, which is about an hour north of Frankfurt.
The parallel event in Stuttgart will be held at the Keltenhof in Filderstadt, a business that specializes in vegetables and herbs for top restaurants. Participants can look forward to a detailed tour of the greenhouses and fields, followed by a barbecue evening during which six SMWS Single Cask bottlings will be tasted.
For everyone who appreciates the combination of good food and fine whiskey, the events represent an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas with like-minded people and learn new things about the world of whiskey.
