From Monday, October 27, 2025, there will be significant traffic disruptions in Süßen. The reason for this is a complete closure of federal highway 10 (B10), which will last until November 7, 2025. This measure serves to maintain the greenery and affects a section of 3.1 kilometers between the Süßen exit (B10/L 1218) to the Gingen-Ost junction (B10/L 1214). The closure begins at 8:00 a.m. daily and ends at 12:00 p.m. on November 7th. During this time, drivers must expect longer journey times.
The diversions for cars and trucks are signposted via the B 10, B 466, L 1214, Hindenburgstraße and back to L 1214 and lead to an additional travel time of around 0.8 kilometers or 3 minutes. The road construction authority of the Esslingen and Göppingen districts asks for your understanding for the necessary impairments that serve to maintain traffic safety.
