On June 18, 2025, Eschenbach's anniversary day, the first adventurers will mark their finish between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. in the finish area of the event. A look at the border route
A central element of the anniversary celebrations is the Eschenbacher Grenzweg, a 57 kilometer long circular route along the municipal border. This extraordinary hiking trail climbs no less than 2,250 meters in altitude and can be hiked in several stages. In addition to physical activity, information boards along the way offer exciting insights into the history of the community. The public hiking days are scheduled for the following dates:

Festival and historical book
Artistically, the anniversary will be complemented by an open-air festival that begins on June 6, 2025 and deals with the history of the 18th century. The performances will take place throughout June 2025 and the stage will be set up at the Custorhaus. Under the project management of Daniela Colombo and the organizational support of Erika Rüegg-Ploke, this festival is another highlight in the anniversary year.
An important cultural product is also a new historical book that comprehensively presents the history of Eschenbach. It will be available from summer 2025 and comprises around 200 pages and a circulation of 1,500 copies.
