TSV Wolfschlägen: Young squad boldly starts the league season!

TSV Wolfschlägen faces a new challenge in the 2025/2026 season of the Oberliga. With a strongly rejuvenated team that has eight new arrivals and just four departures, the club is committed to developing young talent. Coach Steffen Klett describes the challenges ahead as great, but emphasizes the excellent youth work and the potential of the A youth players, who are working diligently to integrate into the first men's team.

Six of the new players come from our own A-youth team, with five of them also being active in the youth league. Klett emphasizes that the departures, which now lack experience and physicality, have left an important gap. It will therefore be a challenge to promote young talent and at the same time remain competitive.

Digital accessibility and inclusion

In parallel to the sporting challenges, TSV Wolfschlägen e.V. is also committed to digital accessibility and inclusion. The aim is to improve the user-friendliness of the association website, especially for people with disabilities. The association is guided by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and strives for continuous improvements.

Although full compliance cannot always be guaranteed, adjustments are made periodically. A OneTap accessibility toolbar helps users customize the site to their individual needs, with features such as customizable text size, contrast, and full keyboard navigation. User feedback is actively sought and requests are processed within 3-5 business days.

Inclusion in handball sports

In the context of inclusion, the German Handball Federation (DHB) is an important player. He sees the participation of people with disabilities as a benefit for society and the sport of handball. The DHB promotes exchange and networking between clubs and supports initiatives that promote integration into sport.

By supporting national and regional projects and providing know-how, the DHB ensures that the concept of inclusion in handball sports becomes more widespread. The German Wheelchair Sports Association in particular is committed to wheelchair handball, which shows how diverse and integrative this sport can be.
