Ostfildern celebrates: Daniela Djokic is the new GNTM Queen 2025!
The eagerly awaited finale of the 20th anniversary season of “Germany’s Next Top Model” took place on June 19, 2025. Daniela Djokic from Ostfildern, the 20-year-old student teacher, was named the women's winner. She prevailed in the competition against Magdalena Milic and Zoe Rötzel. Moritz Rüdiger, the 19-year-old participant from Berlin, took the men's title, becoming the second male titleholder in the show's history. This season was also the first to feature a double finale for women and men, which contributed to the high ratings.
In addition to a prize money of 100,000 euros, the young winner Daniela also received the opportunity to appear on the cover of “Harper’s Bazaar” from June 25th. She will also be the face of an advertising campaign for L’Oréal Paris. Daniela, who describes herself as a positive person, is looking forward to her future career. If her modeling career doesn't work out, she plans to work as a teacher of English and German.
The finalists and the special production
In addition to Daniela and Moritz, the Viennese finalists Magdalena and Pierre also competed in the final, although neither could win. Pierre, a former bank employee, quit his job for the show. Magdalena, who dared a bold makeover, also had to admit defeat. Third places went to Jannik (22) from Schleswig-Holstein and Zoe (19) from the Cologne area.
The head of the jury Heidi Klum staged a special finale in which previous title holders were the focus. The spectators could look forward to an exciting show in which the talents of the aspiring models were impressively showcased.
Daniela Djokic: A look at her hobbies and future
Before she was crowned winner, Daniela posted a video of her fan bus, which was sponsored by a bus company where her father Danilo is operations manager. Her hobbies include the gym, singing, baking and photography. She says her favorite dish is a breaded schnitzel with spaetzle and sauce.
Another interesting aspect of this season was the inclusion of male participants, which resulted in a completely new format and thus repositioned the show. Daniela and Moritz are now part of GNTM history and have won the hearts of viewers with their performances. Their successes could further strengthen not only their careers, but also the entire format and open up new perspectives for future seasons.
