Swimming badge verification in Nürtingen: A day for young and old!

The DLRG is causing quite a stir in Nürtingen, as the nationwide day of action to check swimming badges is taking place on the last weekend of the Whitsun holidays. On this day, both beginners and advanced swimmers can demonstrate their skills and take various swimming badges. Badges on offer include the popular Seahorse to the prestigious Gold Badge. The swimming badge days will take place from June 14th to 22nd, 2025 and give participants the opportunity to show and improve their swimming skills. Anyone interested can register now for the Swimming Badge Days events. The official website www.schwimmabzeichentage.de offers all the necessary information and a comprehensive media bundle. This includes, among other things, graphics, information about the various badges and an interactive map with the events. The organizers of the campaign are the Federal Association for the Promotion of Swimming Training (BFS) and several member associations such as DLRG, DRK Wasserwacht and many others. The numbers from the last swimming badge days are impressive. A total of 4,215 seahorses, 5,576 German swimming badges in bronze, 3,990 in silver and 2,652 in gold were taken.
