TSV Notzingen celebrates its first win: coach calls for defense improvements!
TSV Notzingen was able to record an important victory. On September 13, 2025, the club won against VfB Oberesslingen/Zell 4-2. This represents the first win of the season for Notzingen and should give the promoted team new momentum to climb up the table. In the following game, however, Notzingen suffered a defeat and lost 3-1 to another team, which highlights existing difficulties in defense. The coach commented on the situation and called for urgent improvements in performance and defense.
The game against VfB Oberesslingen/Zell took place under optimal conditions. Organized by TV Unterboihingen, 700 spectators took part in the exciting game, which was only marred by Yasin Karaca's early handball, for which he received a red card in the 18th minute. Notzingen took the lead early; Marian Ropertz scored the first goal in the 3rd minute, followed by Luca Keck, who converted a hand penalty in the 19th minute and increased the score to 2-0.
Relegation game with close results
VfB Oberesslingen/Zell secured a goal through Nail Fakili in the 24th minute, but Notzingen extended their lead after half-time. Egemen Altindil scored the third goal for Notzingen in the 52nd minute, and Daniele Attore made it 4-1 in the 61st minute. Yasin Kaya was able to shorten the score to 2:4 for VfBOEZ, but the last two goals from Ropertz and Keck in the 80th and 82nd minutes meant that Notzingen won the game very clearly 6:2, which put a heavy strain on the season so far for VfB Oberesslingen/Zell.
VfBOEZ player-coach Patrik Leovac was very disappointed by the defeat. Nevertheless, he recognized Notzingen's deserved victory and praised the opponent's performance. This was not the first setback for VfB in the relegation, as they had already had a difficult time in the KLA.
