Celebrate and enjoy: Kirchheim summer full of live music and festivals!

On Friday, July 4th, 2025, the Kirchheim region can expect numerous events that will provide entertainment and social encounters. From 6 p.m. the Brewing revolution to the stage for live music when Calo Rapallo and Frank delight the audience. At the same time, DJ Rockmaster B provides rousing beats at the summer festival on Marktstrasse in Weilheim.

Another highlight of the evening is the Irish evening at the Church & Culture meeting point in Notzingen, where Eddy Danco spoils the guests with culinary specialties from Ireland. Admission can be purchased at the box office. In the meantime, the Jesingen Volunteer Fire Department is celebrating its 150th anniversary with a varied program that includes Volxrock on Friday.

Music and celebrations

The acoustic band Acoustic Tree will perform on Friday evening from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in the Old Forest Office in Kirchheim. Fans of accordion music can look forward to the concert by the Wernau Accordion Orchestra at 7 p.m. in the Waldhorn. Further musical accents are set by Marc Water & Band, who play in the Wilden Mann from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., as well as the Sophisticated Hillbillies, who perform blues music at Platz der kleine Freiheit from 7 p.m. - with free admission.

Things will also be musical at Amber Coffee when Danny Li Hughes performs there at 8 p.m. For friends of choral music, there will be a concert evening by the singing class of the Lenningen Music School at 7 p.m. in Brucken, where admission is free.

A variety of activities on the weekend

The weekend in Kirchheim and the surrounding area doesn't just offer live music. From July 4th to 6th, the city band and TSV Owen are celebrating their 125th anniversary. Comedian Dodokay will provide humor on Friday, while a parade is planned for Sunday at 1 p.m. There will also be a solstice celebration in Ötlingen for nature and family lovers on Saturday, July 5th, with live music from Superclusive and the traditional lighting of the solstice fire by children at 9 p.m.

In addition, storyteller Brigitte Bohres will tell her stories on Saturday in the Kirchheim city library at 11 a.m. before the sustainability market takes place in the pedestrian zone from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. An artistic highlight is the handicraft exhibitions in the Ziegelhütte farm in Ochsenwang, which are open on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The town festival in Weilheim will open on Sunday, July 6th, with a service at 10 a.m., followed by the official opening at 11 a.m. A special event is also the “yoga in the open air” event on Sunday from 9.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. in the Marstallgarten, Kirchheim.

Sunday is also the opportunity to meet the Alfa Romeo friends on the market square or to take part in the bee festival of the Kirchheim district beekeepers' association from 10.30 a.m. with a church service and a children's program. On the same day, the Hohenneuffen-Teck wine gardeners' cooperative invites you to Silvanerweg in the Neuffen vineyards between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m., with further dates on August 3rd and October 5th.
