New nature trail park in Hochdorf: adventure for the whole family!

During the Whitsun holidays, the newly opened nature trail park in Hochdorf offers an exciting destination for families with children. According to the Swabian newspaper This park was set up in a disused gravel pit on the outskirts of Hochdorf. The initiators, passionate hobby bikers from the region, modeled and designed the routes in numerous work assignments.

The nature trail park offers three circuits that vary in difficulty. The use of asphalt and concrete was deliberately avoided, and instead the routes lead through wooded terrain. The easiest route, the “Schweinhauser Wave Line”, impresses with its wave-shaped design and possible jumps, which can, however, be avoided. It is intended that parents and children can ride next to each other, which increases the fun they have together.

A variety of routes for every level

The medium-difficulty “Essendorfer Long Line” and the challenging “Hochdorfer Fast Line” also offer options for different levels of riders. While the “Hochdorfer Fast Line” is aimed at experienced bikers and features steep descents and larger jumps, less experienced riders can develop their skills on the other routes. Even before the official opening, children had the opportunity to test the routes as part of a holiday program and were enthusiastic about the new leisure opportunity.

The nature trail park is open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and entry is free. A combination with a visit to the nearby Lindenweiher is also possible, which makes the trip even more attractive for families. The park is located on Hochdorfer Straße in the direction of Lindenweiher, directly on the railway line at the signalman's house.

Family-friendly experiences in Baden-Württemberg

Especially during the Pentecost holidays, it is important to discover child-friendly excursion destinations in the region. In addition to the nature trail park in Hochdorf, the state offers numerous other adventure trails for families. For example, the Kuhnigundes Kuhle(h)rpfad was opened in the Upper Black Forest, which is a two-kilometer circular tour that is particularly suitable for young walkers and strollers. This path leads along forest paths up to a large playground and offers various hands-on stations that encourage children to play and explore. Finally, a family-friendly outdoor pool in Lenzkirch with numerous play options awaits little visitors, such as a toddler pool, a play area and a large trampoline.

With all of these leisure options, it is clear that Baden-Württemberg is an attractive destination for families looking for exciting and educational experiences in nature. Both the nature trail park and the various adventure trails offer an optimal opportunity to actively spend the Whitsun holidays.
